  1. Your doctor is correct. About 85-90% of adults in the United States have HSV-1.

There are two types of herpes viruses, the people, as HSV-1 and HSV-2. HSV-1 is also frequently with oral lesions - "cold sores" -, while HSV-2 general, genital infection. BUT! - Or the virus can cause infection anywhere. So if you're prone to cold sores, you should make sure your hands, wash hands after you touch your face when you is an open wound - it is possible for the free vaccination and the spread of the infection. (I presume, surprises its obvious that you did not have genital lesions.)

I think the doctor has a blood test to see, because it says nothing about the violation or go to a gynecologist. This shows that you had the exposure. Once you have been exposed, they still have the virus, even if you are an epidemic, apart from the original.

You can always remove the virus again, even if you do not have an active ulcer, which is probably why you will never know howachieved. It is very contagious. The main thing is to be feared that, if you are a woman, which is a genital infection should be cautious about whether an active infection, when it's time to give birth is.
